Hello there! I'm Martyn, and I'm absolutely passionate about capturing the real, unscripted magic of wedding days.
So, who am I? Well, I'm a wedding photographer based right here in the heart of Lancashire. For years, I've been honing my craft, drawn to the genuine emotion and unique stories that unfold at every single wedding. While my path here has been a bit unconventional, it's the pure joy and connection I witness on a wedding day that truly fuels me.
I believe that the best wedding photos are the ones that aren't forced. My approach is all about keeping things relaxed and easy-going. Think of me as your friendly shadow, blending into the background to capture those fleeting glances, bursts of laughter, happy tears, and all the beautiful in-between moments you might even miss yourself. It's often called documentary or reportage style, and for me, it's the most authentic way to tell the story of your day.
I'm not about awkward poses or endless staged shots. I want you to feel comfortable, be yourselves, and truly live in the moment. My goal is to provide you with a collection of photographs that are honest, full of emotion, and allow you to relive the genuine spirit of your wedding day for years and years to come.
Being based in Lancashire, I love exploring all the incredible venues and landscapes our region has to offer, and I'm always excited to discover new ones.

1. Although I don't have much of an accent, I'm a Lancashire lad through and through.
2. I've been a photographer for 8 years (that's longer than I realized!). I started when I ran a retail business with my wife doing everything from portraits, lifestyle, product and equine shoots. Having only recently moved into wedding photography, I love bringing everything together!
3. I LOVE Rum...anything spiced and I'm happy!
4. I have a Border Terrier puppy call Arthur...he's currently trying to pull my slipper off my foot!
5. I've actually worked as a Forensic Scientist for over 16 years (now that makes me feel old!)
6. I'm 6foot4...but still manage to blend in/hide behind a suitably placed bush to get the shot!
